The Critics Choice Association is pleased to announce that the 26th annual Critics Choice Awards will air LIVE on The CW Network on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 7-10pm ET, with acclaimed film, television, and stage star Taye Diggs returning to host for his third consecutive time. The show will continue its combined Film and Television awards format, honoring the finest in both cinematic and televised/streaming achievement, and take place once again at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, health considerations permitting.

The awards again will be broadcast from Barker Hangar at Santa Monica Airport and air live on the CW Network from 7 to 10 p.m. Eastern time, with the telecast delayed on the West Coast, an Association statement said. These awards honor both movies and TV productions. Historically, they are the most-accurate predictor of Academy Award nominations, according to the Association.
At the 25th annual Critics Choice Awards, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood took home four film awards, the most of the night, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Brad Pitt, Best Original Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino, and Best Production Design for Barbara Ling and Nancy Haigh. Best Actor and Best Actress awards went to Joaquin Phoenix for Joker and Rene Zellweger for Judy. The Best Director race resulted in a tie between Sam Mendes for 1917 and Bong Joon Ho for Parasite.
Critics Choice Awards 2021 Host

About the Critics Choice Association (CCA)
The Critics Choice Association is an association of approximately 250 television, radio and online critics. Founded in 1995, it is the largest film critics organization in the United States and Canada. The BFCA has presented the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards each year since 1995.
